My name is Mikaela Isaias.

While some of us are born, as the saying goes, with a silver spoon in our mouths, it is pretty (like our clothes) safe to say, I was born with a fashion fork in mine.

My mother Alexis, and my gorgeous Nana, have been spoon-feeding it to me from the instant I was born. Notice I say spoon fed, not force fed. As yes, there is a difference between the two. The latter, like mushy peas, I don’t like. What I do like are beautiful, fun, and hip clothes, especially the ones we’ve designed for our new collection. No more scratchy taffeta.

Hello I am Colette.

I am still very new to the fashion world and I can’t quite speak yet, but if I could, there are a few things I’d like to say for myself and for babies everywhere born with the sixth sense of fashion. Listen closely moms.

We cry, not necessarily because we’re colicky. Ugly clothes can make us cranky.

Also, please allow us some dignity and cover our bottoms in something pretty? Nice diaper covers, anyone?

And know, that sometimes when we coo as we stare in each others’ eyes, it is not just because we love you, it is also the reflection of that pretty dress we see staring back at us.

And oh, thank you mommies everywhere, for every little thing you do. Now, go buy us something pretty please.
